We believe that collaboration, especially between non-traditional partners, can spark fresh ideas and bolster a project, initiative or movement’s chance of success. To support our grantmaking and advance our interests in sustainable land use and real estate practices, REFBC plays a role as a convener and connector.

The Smart Growth Task Force helps local governments, planners and industry experts collaborate to integrate land use and transportation planning in ways that shape more sustainable communities.

Sustain BC

Sustain BC is a provincial initiative that brings food systems leaders together, aligns priorities and coordinates action towards an ambitious goal: healthy, local food sustains all in BC by 2030.

Sustainable Funding for Watershed Governance Initiative Task Force

The task force will explore and test funding mechanisms, build capacity in BC’s watershed governance community, and foster collaboration among organizations.
