Nominations are open to all projects based in BC that demonstrate innovation, collaboration and leadership in sustainable land use. Read the eligibility criteria for more information.

David Beers, as founding editor of The Tyee, is privileged to team with and publish many of Canada's best journalists. For ten years an independent, on-line source of investigative and solution-focused reporting, with financial support from its reader 'Builders' as well as community partners, The Tyee has earned many honours including two Canadian Excellence in Journalism awards and two Edward R. Murrow awards. David also teaches at the UBC Graduate School of Journalism.
